The Gunners are not afraid to make big decisions this summer.
Ready for total rebuilding
Arsenal are said to have been preparing for a complete restructuring of their squad – a move that could mean selling two star players to pick up their top priority.

As the final weeks of the 2025/26 Premier League season approach, fans are already starting to look ahead. What awaits promises to be a hectic transfer window – in the middle of the World Cup. Among the clubs expected to bleed money this summer is Arsenal. Regardless of how things go in the Premier League and Champions League, the north Londoners will supposedly spend large sums of money.
Must sell to buy
But after spending huge sums of money last summer – topping the league in net transfer spending by a whopping £257 million – it is assumed that the Gunners will have to say goodbye to several players when the season is over.
With increasingly strict financial rules in football, it is quite possible that several of those who will leave the Emirates this summer are players who have been central to Mikel Arteta’s time at the club.
Two big names on their way out
According to a report by CaughtOffside, Arsenal have already identified both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz as potential targets for sale this summer. The club wants to renew the attack.
Both strikers have struggled with long-term injuries during their time at Arsenal. Therefore, they are considered interchangeable – if a suitable agreement comes up.
This is how much Arsenal can get
A later report from the same media outlet claims that Arsenal are willing to accept bids of around €40 million for Jesus. He has scored 31 goals in 119 appearances since joining from Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
Havertz, on the other hand – with 33 goals in 103 games since his transfer from Chelsea in July 2023 – could be sold for around €80 million (£69,6 million).

At the top of the list of goals is former Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez, a player who has attracted interest from several top clubs in Europe, including Paris Saint-Germain, in recent months.
So far this season, the 26-year-old has scored 18 goals in all competitions for Diego Simeone’s team.
However, any deal for Alvarez is likely to cost significant sums of money, with Atletico reportedly valuing their striker at around €120 million (£104.34 million), making a significant profit after paying €95 million (£81.8 million) when signing him from City.
