Arsenal sign Ezri Konsa

– Strengthens defence with England international in a £51 million transfer

Arsenal have completed the transfer of Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa. The defender has signed a long-term contract with the Gunners – and the transfer is worth £51 million, plus bonuses of 4 million.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirms that the deal is now official. Konsa, who joined Aston Villa in 2019, made a total of 286 appearances for the Birmingham club before making the move to London.

The versatile full-back is a fixture in England’s national team and represented the nation at the World Cup this summer.
