Justin Gatlin retired in 2022, ending a successful sprinting career during which he won five Olympic medals and 10 World Championship medals representing the United States. Now he’s back and he’s facing another challenge – to break the NFL record for 40 yards.
Justin Gatlin is aiming to run the fastest-ever 40-yard dash despite retiring from professional competition in early 2022. The 41-year-old believes he can run under 4.20s. Gatlin said he already clocked 4.20s on the first day of training, which is faster than John Ross’s record. Moreover, Gatlin wants to run even faster and close as a result of 4.19 s.
