These have been the days where Mo Salah and Kevin de Bruyne have talked about their contract situation at Liverpool and Manchester City respectively. Both expire in the summer. Both know nothing about what is happening, but only one is left with the feeling of disappointment.
-We are almost in December and I have not received an offer from the club to stay. I’m probably more outside than inside,” Salah begins, according to The Athletic.

There should be no doubt that Salah himself wants to stay.
“I love the fans, the fans love me, but it’s not in my hands or the fans’ hands. We’ll have to wait and see,” Salah said. Who was asked if he is disappointed with the lack of offers from Liverpool, soon just a month before he can negotiate freely with other clubs.
“I’m disappointed, but we’ll see,” Salah concluded.
On Monday, Kevin de Bruyne was asked a similar question about his contract situation.
-I honestly don’t know. At the start of the season I knew there would be talks, but then I got injured at Brentford. It was supposed to be a few days, and then it was eight or nine weeks. I put it all aside… That’s the only thing I can answer, because I don’t know. If there are no talks, it will be my last year at the club, but I don’t know,” Kevin de Bruyne begins, according to the BBC.
“I had a conversation this summer, but then I got injured. So I wasn’t ready to talk about it. I need to be back on the pitch and be myself again. It’s not urgent, I don’t feel uncomfortable and I’m not worried,” De Bruyne said.
