Liverpool are ready to make a bid of a staggering £100m to secure a new goal machine in the summer transfer window.
It seems that the Merseyside club are once again willing to open their wallets on a broad front – just like they did last summer.

Recently, Liverpool confirmed the appointment of Andoni Iraola as their new manager, and the management will now do everything they can to give him the right tools to implement his style of play and achieve success at the club.
The Reds have already secured the signature of Victor Muñoz, after they won the battle for the Spaniard ahead of Newcastle, and brought him in from Osasuna.
But it doesn’t stop there. Liverpool will need to be active in this transfer window to replace Ibrahima Konaté, Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson, who have all left the club on free transfers.
New bid of £100 million
According to a report from Dave Occop, Liverpool are expected to make a new bid for RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande during the summer.
The Reds recently had an offer of around £87 million rejected by Leipzig, but talks have continued over a possible deal.
Now, the report claims that Liverpool are ready to increase their stakes with a bid of around £100 million – an amount that would be far closer to the Bundesliga club’s own valuation of the player.
The dream of Liverpool
Diomande has previously stated that he dreams of playing for Liverpool one day. If the two clubs manage to agree on a transfer fee, it should therefore be a simple matter to get the player himself over the line.
The ivory-coasting winger, who has been described by journalist Bence Bocsak as “unstoppable”, is undoubtedly one of Europe’s most sought-after talents at the moment.
World Cup star in shooting shots
Diomande is currently one of the big stars of the World Cup, and he really put his name on the map already in the tournament’s opening match.
Clubs like Liverpool were of course well aware of Diomande’s qualities long before the World Cup started, and they have been pushing for his signature for months.
Now Liverpool want to get a deal in place quickly, before other big clubs have time to interfere in the game. Especially if Diomande delivers a phenomenal championship – as many expect – the price tag and competition can only increase further.
