Old Trafford. Theatre of Dreams. Opened in 1910. 120 years later, Manchester United’s new giant stadium will open its doors to a whole world of Manchester United supporters – without losing its roots in the local community, Ratcliffe and the gang promise.

The ambition is for the new stadium to open in 2035, but illustrations of the area and the new stadium can already be seen. On Thursday, the location of the new stadium was confirmed, where 100,000 supporters can gather on match day.

The stadium is planned to be built 350 metres northwest of the current Old Trafford, and in addition to the 100,000 seats, it is planned to become the largest sports stadium in the UK.

In addition to the large stadium, United reports that the vision is also to create an urban area with 48,000 local jobs and 15,000 new homes.
