If Manchester City stumbles against Bournemouth on Tuesday, it’s all over. Martin Ødegaard lifts the Premier League trophy for Arsenal, for the first time since captain Patrick Vieira did it in the 2003/04 season. If City wins, Ødegaard promises the Gunners supporters that the trophy will be bussed home to the Emirates anyway – and not just this trophy.

After Monday’s 1-0 win over Burnley, captain Martin Ødegaard assured the fans at the Emirates that the team is ready for the crucial weeks of the season.

“Now there is one big game left for us in the Premier League, and then there is the Champions League final. We will take the trophies home with us. I can guarantee you that we will give everything and keep going to the bitter end – and with your support we will be ready,” Ødegaard said according to BBC Sport.
