Real Madrid were willing to fork out a “Neymar-like” amount for Michael Olise in the summer, but the Bayern Munich management stopped the push. Even a couple of hundred million euros would not make Bayern start the season without their biggest and most prolific attacking asset alongside Harry Kane. Now, French outlet L’Equipe reports that Olise is very happy, but will take advantage of the opportunity in a few years.
Michael Olise was heavily linked with Real Madrid earlier this summer, but ultimately stayed at Bayern Munich. The Spanish giant instead opted to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig. However, it seems unlikely that this will be the last time the Frenchman attracts interest from other top clubs – and according to an anonymous source close to Olise who spoke to L’Équipe, the 24-year-old will consider moving on to a new club.

“He [Olise] is very happy in Munich. In the long term, of course, it is logical that he will seek new challenges,” the source told L’Équipe.
Before that, a reassuring message comes to Bayern supporters: “But for now, everything is going well. He will only continue to improve and, above all, win everything this season with Bayern.”
