For the past six months, Elliot Anderson has been one of Balløya’s hottest midfielders. Nottingham Forest are holding on to the England international, but with both giants from Manchester set out to start next season with the 23-year-old in the squad, then the Forest management has only one task: ensure that the buyer leaves an inordinate number of pound notes at the City Ground. Elliot Anderson has travelled to the World Cup with England, at home at the City Ground another match is played. The battle to get the greatest possible compensation for losing one of their biggest stars.

Manchester City’s bid for Elliot Anderson rejected
According to The Athletic and the BBC , City have now sent a first bid for Anderson, which Forest have blithely rejected.
It is not clear how big City’s bid is, but both media outlets write that the price is likely to be around £100 million, which Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Declan Rice cost – perhaps even higher.
Elliot Anderson will come to City without a Pep Guardiola, but Erling Haaland and the rest of the City squad will probably get Anderson to continue the sparkling development he has had at Forest over the past year. For City, this will be a big win, Elliot Anderson has the potential to become one of the big, central midfield guns in the Premier League in the coming years.
