Novak Djokovic was forced to withdraw from Indian Wells and Miami Open due to the US government’s refusal to allow the Serb to enter the country without being vaccinated against Covid-19. While the media wrote about the case and Florida senators intervened unsuccessfully with President Biden, Djokovic remained silent. However, the Serb decided to break the silence.
Novak Djokovic broke a few weeks of silence and commented on his ban on entering the US without vaccinations. The Serbian regrets nothing. Djokovic made a comment in one of his recent interviews. The Serb not only referred to the controversy surrounding his entry to the US, but also to Alcaraz’s win in Indian Wells and overtaking him in the rankings.
The Serb admitted that he could not be angry with anyone for not allowing him to enter the US, because he made a conscious decision not to be vaccinated.
