For the past six months, former “untouchable” at AC Milan, Rafael Leao, has been linked to exit San Siro. The Portuguese has worn the Milan shirt since 2019 as one of the biggest star wingers in Europe with 80 goals and 65 assists in 291 games, last week the 26-year-old confirmed he is on his way away from the San Siro.
“I’m proud to have made history at AC Milan, but I want a new chapter. I feel ready to play in a different league. I’ve done my best for Milan, but it’s time to try a new challenge,” Rafael Leao told Portuguese sports TV.

This is the player with an astronomical buyout clause of €175 million, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport , AC Milan have signalled they are opening the door to bids of €50 million.
According to the Italian newspaper, Leao was once again offered to Arsenal in recent weeks, but although the Gunners are looking for a new left winger, negotiations with the 26-year-old’s camp have not progressed so far.
In a previous interview on the Cernucci podcast, Leao said that he has always admired Manchester United because of his “idol”, Cristiano Ronaldo, although Arsenal have also piqued his interest in recent years.
Leao is waiting for Arsenal and Manchester United, but according to the Italian media, the only offer the Portuguese has received so far is from Galatasaray.
