Now this is history, and De Zerbi is aiming for something completely different from the relegation battle. Now it is also rigged to build up a defense that does not leak like a sieve.

According to The Athletic , Spurs have made a bid for Brighton’s Jan Paul van Hecke. Roberto De Zerbi and van Hecke have a common past, as the Italian coach was at Brighton from 2022 to 2024.
The bid for the 25-year-old has not met Brighton’s expectations, but with his contract expiring next summer and no opening for an extension, the Brighton management are forced to take advantage of the last opportunity to bring in sales revenue for the Dutch international.
