The last friendly before the start of the season is special in itself, but when it is Ruben Amorim who leads the Italian club, then this will be an extra special match. An attacking Portuguese has taken control at Milan, signed Goncalo Ramos, who was brought in from PSG for £60 million – and has told three big profiles they need to find a new club.
Amorim signed a three-year contract with the Rossoneri, replacing Massimiliano Allegri, who was sacked after failing to qualify for the Champions League. The former Manchester United manager is now aiming to do what his predecessor could not, and a strong transfer window is key to his success at the San Siro.

Milan have signed three players so far this summer, with the most eye-catching acquisition being Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain for £60 million.
However, in order to invest further in their large squad, it looks like Amorim will have to part ways with some of their first-team stars, and after a few weeks in the job, make three of them available for sale.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Fikayo Tomori (former Chelsea), Youssouf Fofana (former Monaco) and Christopher Nkunku (former Chelsea) have all been put on the transfer list, and the Portuguese is continuing his rebuild.

Tomori and Fofana were unused substitutes during AC Milan’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea on August 8, no doubt signalling his attitude towards the pair, while Nkunku came on at half-time for Rafael Leao against his former club.
Ruben Amorim will show Manchester United, AC Milan and the rest of the world that he is bigger than the failure at Old Trafford.
