Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian have added a new member to their family after welcoming their second child together. The couple welcomed a baby girl into the world.
The couple welcomed a baby girl named Adira River into the world and shared the news via a video on social media.
“Hello my beautiful angel,” Williams captioned the video, loosely quoting Bazzie’s song “Beautiful” playing in the background. The video shows the couple sitting together at a table before being joined by their first daughter, five-year-old Olympia. Williams then leaves the table for a moment before returning with the couple’s newest child. The whole family looks at the newborn, then Olympia kisses her little sister.
In May, Williams announced she was pregnant with her second child. She debuted with a pregnant belly at the Met Gala with Ohanian. “I was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the three of us,” Williams wrote on Instagram at the time.
