On Sunday evening, Romelu Lukaku landed at the airport in Naples. A group of Italian journalists had heard about the Belgian’s arrival, this was great news for them. For the past month, the star striker and the Napoli management have been in open conflict.
According to CalcioNapoli24 , Lukaku will meet Antonio Conte and the rest of the Napoli management on Monday to find out how they can restore the now damaged relationship. Disagreements about where the striker’s injury rehabilitation should take place have led to a ban and several consequences for the Belgian.

When Romelu Lukaku announced his retirement from the Belgian national team in the last international training camp, Napoli believed he should return to Italy to treat his injury. Napoli threatened to ban the club’s third highest-paid player for the rest of the season.
So far, there has been no solution, but Lukaku’s return to Napoli at least opens up the possibility.
