One thing is important to know, it is Fayza Lamari the mom of Kylian Mbappé who controls everything in the French superstar’s life.
There are intense rumours that Kylian Mbappé could end up in the Premier League, and which club he signs for could very well be up to his mother.

After a tough season in Spain with Real Madrid, the Frenchman heads to the 2026 World Cup knowing that he is likely to be led by José Mourinho. The legendary Portuguese replaces outgoing interim manager Álvaro Arbeloa, who failed to win the La Liga title after Xabi Alonso left the club so quickly.
Alonso only lasted seven and a half months, despite having a win percentage of 70.6 in all competitions.
Mbappé’s tough season
However, Mbappé clearly preferred to work with Alonso rather than Arbeloa, and relations seemed strained in the final weeks of the season.
The French superstar was even the subject of a petition demanding that he be sold, after he was spotted on holiday in Sardinia recovering from an injury towards the end of the season.
Nevertheless, he scored 25 league goals in 31 games, and added another 15 goals in 11 games in the Champions League.
The arrival of Mourinho is likely to help restore his relations, while his current contract in the Spanish capital runs for another three years.

Mbappé to the Premier League?
A move to the Premier League is never completely out of the question for Mbappé, who has long attracted the attention of English clubs. He even had a trial at Chelsea as a youngster, where he played against Charlton.
But another club could have an advantage over Chelsea, according to journalist and author of the definitive biography of Mbappé, Julien Laurens.
“I think Real Madrid was always the dream and he has a long-term contract,” he told Hawksbee and Jacobs on talkSPORT.
“He’s 27, soon to be 28. He will be 28 in December. I think I can see him staying there for a long time, but I also don’t think it’s impossible to see him leave the club at some point.”
“We know Liverpool is the club his mother loves. It was the team and the club they looked at the most, and they really loved them.”
“It’s funny, because all these English clubs tried to sign him when he was 12, 14, 15 and 17 years old. Someone went all the way to Nice and parked the private jet at the airport, just in case he didn’t stay in Monaco and decided to leave.”
“They were all there ready to make him an offer. So maybe one day – I think he would be big in the Premier League. I think he’s played for it, and he’s watching everything.”

Mbappé’s Mum Loves Liverpool
In 2022, Mbappé was linked with Liverpool, but the player himself insisted that he was closer to joining them in 2017, while he was still at Monaco.
“We talked a little, but not too much. We talked a bit,” Mbappé told the Daily Telegraph.
“I spoke to Liverpool because it’s my mum’s favourite club. My mom loves Liverpool. I don’t know why – you’ll have to ask her! It’s a good club, and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco, I met them. It’s a big club.”
During the 2022 World Cup, where Mbappé scored a hat-trick as a losing finalist against Argentina, his mother once again revealed her love for Liverpool.
Fayza Lamari was pictured with a fan during France’s quarter-final win against England. She happily pointed to the liver bird on his shirt, while the post on X hinted at good news for Liverpool supporters.
It read: “Okay, just to brighten up the England defeat for Liverpool supporters… This is my boy. I don’t want to say what she said, but this is Kylian Mbappé’s mother.”
Liverpool News
Liverpool spent large sums of money last summer when they wanted to add even more firepower to their squad. Hugo Ekitike was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for £69 million, while Alexander Isak was then signed for a British record sum of £125 million, after a lengthy chase in the transfer window.
French Ekitike adapted more quickly and finished the season with 17 goals in all competitions, before rupturing his Achilles in April. Isak, on the other hand, struggled from the start, and injury problems – including a calf fracture he suffered while scoring against Tottenham – hampered his progress. He finished with four goals in 22 games, and hopes that a World Cup with Sweden can revive his goalscoring flair.
Having both in the squad currently affects their ability to sign Mbappé, should an opportunity arise – this despite top wage earner Mohamed Salah leaving the club after an iconic nine-season spell at Anfield, where he won the Premier League twice and the Champions League.
