The rumour mill is running in full swing in England after Manchester United went off the pitch without a win for the seventh game in a row. Michael Carrick has to answer weekly whether he is the right coach for United (12 wins in 17 Premier League games last season have been forgotten). Not surprisingly, rumours are circulating about a candidate list of potential replacements, which would otherwise be surprising. There is at least one manager on this list who does not represent any “threat” to Carrick.
Julian Nagelsmann is said to be very interested in the job, but is unlikely to be a coach who will rally the supporters. Antonio Conte has been heavily linked with the job over the past month if Carrick is weighed too lightly. Still, the top candidate in recent weeks seems to be Fabian Hürzeler.

According to talkSPORT , Fabian Hürzeler is one of the coaches United will contact in the event of a dismissal, but the gang at Old Trafford can save themselves the trouble.
