When Real Madrid president Florentino Perez announced before the club’s presidential election that the giant signing was approaching, the warning lights flashed in Munich. The Bayern boss came out hard and told the world Michael Olise was not for sale. This prompted the Real management to put out an announcement, promising that they had not contacted either the player or the agent, and showed respect for Bayern as the employer of the French international. This does not mean that the La Liga giant is retiring. In London, the process is followed extra closely.
Because when it is rumored that Real Madrid are preparing a bid of up to 220 million euros for Michael Olise, then Crystal Palace are watching. The Premier League club sold the winger to the Bundesliga giant in 2024 for around €60 million. With 42 goals and 54 assists in 107 appearances in a Bayern shirt, the 24-year-old has become, along with Harry Kane, the club’s biggest attacking asset.

According to Football-Insider , Palace negotiated a resale clause in the contract, with the Premier League club receiving 20 percent of the sale price in the event of a resale. If there is an Olise sale of around £188 million, Crystal Palace could be entitled to £37.6 million, or a minimum of £27.6 million if the clause is based on profit rather than the gross amount.
