The shopping list of the wealthy club will cause headaches for all other clubs with ambitions of success in Europe.
After selling Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan for over €75 million, as well as Kang-In Lee to Atlético Madrid and Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus, the Paris club now has the liquidity to carry out a dream renewal.
Diomande – the first piece
The biggest single entry is 19-year-old Yan Diomande from Ivory Coast, who has impressed greatly at the World Cup. PSG are said to be willing to pay €120 million for the winger, who can play on both sides of the pitch. He is likely to replace Bradley Barcola, who is on his way out – with Liverpool and Barcelona as stakeholders.
Akliouche – French creativity
Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco is also on his way in. The 24-year-old scored seven goals and set up eleven in 43 appearances last season, and can be used both as a right winger and as a creative attacking midfielder. He will replace Kang-In Lee.
Kroupi – Premier League profile worth 70 million
The third piece is Junior Kroupi – 20-year-old French striker from Bournemouth, who scored 13 goals in 33 games in the Premier League. He can play both as a lone striker and in the role of hanging striker, and the transfer costs around €70 million.
This is what PSG’s new attack could look like
With these three signings, PSG will have an attacking apparatus that intimidates even the best defenses in Europe:
- Right wing: Désiré Doué and Maghnes Akliouche
- Center forward: Ousmane Dembélé and Junior Kroupi
- Left wing: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Yan Diomande
A world-class offensive
The next few weeks will determine how quickly PSG can sign the three new stars. With a freed up salary pool and a clear ambition to continue to dominate Europe, the club will do everything possible to complete the transfers before the window closes. If they succeed, Europe will face an unprecedented attack.
