Arsenal opened the season in the best possible way with a 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield. Riccardo Calafiori, Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard secured the number one trophy in the 2026/27 season – but there was one incident during the medal ceremony that stole the headlines.

During the medal ceremony, Piero Hincapie managed to ignore one of the medal toppers – and thus rejected her handshake, apparently completely unintentionally.
