Manchester City’s Norwegian goal machine Haaland has scored 15 goals in 17 games in all competitions this campaign, although he and City are currently going through a difficult period.

City have lost their last five games in a row, and the striker has 12 goals in as many Premier League games, finding the back of the net just twice in the last seven league meetings after his blistering start gradually faded.

Kane is a Premier League scoring legend thanks to his exploits with Tottenham Hotspur having scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for Spurs, before moving to Bayern in 2023 for an initial transfer fee of €100 million.

Since moving to Germany, Kane has scored 64 goals in 62 games, including 14 goals in 11 Bundesliga games so far this campaign and reached the milestone of 20 goals in all competitions this season.

Lewandowski joined Barcelona from Bayern back in 2022, having scored 344 goals in 375 appearances for the Bavarian shirt.

The Polish international has continued his prolific form in front of goal in La Liga, having scored 79 goals in 113 appearances for the Camp Nou team.

So far this season in La Liga, Lewandowski has scored 15 goals in 14 games in the Spanish top flight.

All three are legendary strikers and will go down as some of the greatest goalscorers in football history, but statistics from this season have shown which of the three players have been the best this season, with a clear winner!

Using Squawka’s comparison matrix tool, we’ve compiled the performances of the three players per 90 minutes exclusively in their respective home leagues this season, and Kane is clearly the superior player so far this season on a number of metrics.

The England captain tops almost all the categories used to measure the individual performance of the trio, including goals and assists per game, pass attempts, passing accuracy, games completed, and penalties won.

These include goals, chance conversion rate, assists, pass attempts, passing accuracy, long pass accuracy, crossing accuracy, and through balls in the Bundesliga.

Lewandowski comes out on top in terms of how often he has appeared this season along with his shot accuracy and his success in La Liga, while Haaland’s Premier League performances are not the best in either metric apart from shots on target per game.
