The Polish woman decided to be part of it because she wanted to promote tennis. However, she is dissatisfied with the end result. In an interview with Vogue magazine, she even admitted that her team has already taken some steps in this matter. What does Swiatek not like about “Break Point”?
The Netflix series “Break Point” was created on the basis of the success of another sports production of the platform, which is very popular – “Formula 1: Driving for Life”.
Throughout the 2022 season, Netflix cameras tracked some of the top tennis players, portraying their lives on and off the court, and looking for answers to the question of who can replace Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams, who dominated the tennis competition in the last two decades. The Netflix series featured Nick Kyrgios, Taylor Fritz and Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur. The leaders of the rankings – Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek – also performed in front of the cameras. However, their screen time was so minimal and superficial that Netflix was criticized. Swiatek herself is dissatisfied with the results. She shared her reservations in an interview with Vogue magazine.
