The 21-year-old Scottish right-back Calvin Ramsay is back in Scotland, but not at his childhood club Aberdeen in Kilmarnock. Loan has been the key word for Ramsay since he joined Liverpool almost three years ago.

So far, he has been out on loan at Preston and Bolton and now for the last six months at Wigan. Manager Arne Slot is sure the time of constant loan is soon over and that Calvin Ramsay will soon be ready to become a regular part of the squad.

So far, there have been two games for Liverpool at Ramsay, who should be very pleased with Liverpool’s schedule and to play a lot of football this spring at home in Scotland.

On Monday, Liverpool announced that Ramsay will play with Scottish side Kilmarnock for the rest of the season. At the same time, he basically has a contract with the “Reds” until 2027.

On Tuesday, it will be tough for Liverpool who travel to The City Ground in the face of Nottinham Forest. Manager Arne Slot refers to “The Reds” as serious title contenders. Liverpool lead the Premier League with 46 points ahead of Arsenal and Nottinham Forest who both have 40 points.
