All was not fantastic in Sparta Prague for Norwegian midfielder Markus Solbakken.

It was 99% certain that the 24-year-old was going to Sweden a couple of weeks ago, but then information started to come out that it was difficult for MFF to get a signature.

Now it will be Italy instead.

Now it is also clear that Solbakken will be loaned to the Italian Serie B club Pisa. Sparta Prague confirms this on their website. This is a loan with an option to buy.

Pisa are second in the Italian second division and have a good chance of promotion to Serie A this spring.

Solbakken joined the Czech big club from Viking in the winter of 2024. He has also made an international appearance for Norway and his father Ståle Solbakken.
