Roma is in a hard situation, having had a difficult start to the season and currently languishing in the lower half of the Serie A standings. Speculation arose that the club might proceed with a second managerial dismissal in recent months, but the “Giallorossi” leadership has made a decision regarding head coach Ivan Juric’s future.
After a day of reflections and internal discussions, the Friedkin ownership have decided to continue with Ivan Juric.
The Croatian technician’s position seemed at risk following the recent defeat to Hellas Verona.
The Giallorossi lost to Verona at the weekend and this led to reports suggesting that Juric’s job was uncertain and names were linked with the club.

The Friedkins have reiterated that they are not happy with the current results and will be monitoring the situation very carefully from now until Sunday evening. That is why the game against Union SG and Bologna will be very vital for Juric.
Earlier reports indicated that Juric might be dismissed on Monday, but the coach himself requested the opportunity to prove himself in Roma’s next two matches. Potential successors mentioned in case of a change included Claudio Ranieri, Paulo Sousa, and Frank Lampard.
