You don’t need many seconds to see that Mo Salah is in terrific physical shape. The Egyptian superstar with an extreme 257 goals and 122 assists in 440 games in a Liverpool shirt has with his pace, technique, stamina and finishing played his way into the 4th highest scoring player in Premier League history. Now he is airing his concerns about Liverpool, the day he walks out of Anfield for the last time as a Reds player.

In an interview with Sky Sports , Salah says that when he arrived at the club in 2016, there were very few players who trained extra on their own, but that over time he has raised the standards by setting an example for new and existing players. Now he is worried about what will happen when he walks out the door for the last time at the training facility.

“I love this place so much. I’ve had my best years here, and I want the guys to continue to work in the way that is practiced now. If they win the Premier League, they can forget what I’m saying. I’ve done my part here. I just want the club and the guys to achieve success – and this is my biggest concern, which I have also aired with several people from the management. I told them: ‘When I’m gone, you need another example. Someone who shows up early to go to the gym, so that people can think that they should do it too,” says Salah.

Who has experienced how much high standards determine the title chances.

“If that doesn’t happen, it will be difficult for the club. It is very, very important to have high standards. People need to go to the gym and take care of their physique. I don’t want that to change,” says a worried Salah.
