The long-awaited return of Rafael Nadal has been officially confirmed! The Spaniard, who missed a year due to injury, will return for the start of the 2024 season at Brisbane International!

Rafael Nadal has not played a match since the 2023 Australian Open, during which he injured his left psoas muscle and later ended his season. The Spaniard had to undergo hip surgery. At the same time, his chronic foot injury and its fracture were also operated on.

After a year spent in rehabilitation, Nadal announced on social media on Friday that he would take part in the ATP 250 tournament in Brisbane, which will take place in the first week of January. The Spaniard shared an emotional post detailing his injury journey before confirming his return.

The Brisbane tournament will be held from December 31, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
