Mike Maignan is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in modern football, and Milan is eager to keep him at the club, offering him a new contract.
Milan and Mike Maignan have effectively reached an agreement for the goalkeeper’s new contract.
According to Matteo Moretto, both parties have already agreed on all the details of the new deal, which will run until 2028. The contract also includes an option for an additional season, with a new annual salary of €5 million net. The final step now is for Maignan to sign the contract, after which an official announcement will follow.
Considering Maignan currently earns just €2.8m per year net, the renewal is a big step forward for the goalkeeper.
