In previous seasons, Arsenal’s coach and players have been criticized for being too weak and not very cynical when it comes to deciding the biggest games. After Tuesday’s semi-final win over Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, there is definitely no one who can accuse Ødegaard and the gang of not playing with a title mentality. After the match at the Emirates, there were absolutely crazy scenes, where players, coaches and supporters shared the historic moment of getting a Champions League final ticket for the first time in 20 years. Wayne Rooney didn’t get it.

“They deserve to be in this position, but they haven’t won anything yet. I think the celebration was a bit too much. You can celebrate when you win,” Wayne Rooney said on Prime.
