Once again, it turned out that Italy, one of the world’s biggest football nations, is unable to qualify for a World Cup final. Not many hours after the “national mourning” started, the criticism of the entire system in Serie A and Italy came. Napoli owner Laurentiis of course used the opportunity to criticize the set-up in the Italian league with too many clubs and too tight a league schedule, while others go deeper, and look at Italian football. A lot needs to be done, but the first thing is to put in place the right national team coach. Now it is reported that the next person is ready.
Italy missed out on another World Cup, and as a result of the qualification failure, Gennaro Gattuso resigned from the job. In the past, Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri have been considered strong candidates for the job, but now it is reported that the Italian Football Federation has made a different choice.

Reporter Roberto Mancini becomes national team coach for Italy
Roberto Manchini is a ring fox, both at club and national level. It was Mancini who led Italy from 2018 to 2023 – and that to the European Championship title.
According to transfer journalist Nicolo Schira, Mancini is just one step away from becoming Italy’s national coach. The 61-year-old has been offered a contract until 2030, but an annual salary of 2 million euros. Mancini is currently in charge of Qatari Al-Sadd, with a contract until 2028.
This plan is likely to change now. Italy are calling on Mancini, the last national team coach to lead Italy to a title.
