Last autumn, Scott McTominay scissor-kicked in the goal to win over Denmark in the World Cup qualifiers. For Scotland, this was the first World Cup ticket in 28 years, so it is not only Norway that has struggled with a terribly long absence from the biggest championship. Now McTominay’s goal is lifted – and into the central bank’s banknote presses.
Scott McTominay was a key player in the victory, scoring a spectacular goal with a scissor kick. According to The Herald , the Bank of Scotland will print 20-pound notes with Scott McTominay’s goal as a motif on the notes, which will be produced in a limited edition.
