Since 2023, Andoni Iraola has led Bournemouth from a position five points away from relegation in the 2022/23 season to success, now it is reported that the club will have to do without the successful coach.

On Saturday, Bournemouth sank league leaders Arsenal at the Emirates, a 1-2 win that had Gunners supporters beeping out their own players. Because with Iraola’s tactical feat, Manchester City are suddenly back in the title race.

12 PL games without a loss. For the Bournemouth management, however, it is a bittersweet experience to see Iraola lead the club to another season of success, now in 11th place, only three points behind Chelsea in 6th place.

The sweet is obvious, the bitter thing is that, according to The Athletic, the club has been working for the last 15 months to convince Iraola to extend his contract that runs until the summer – without success.
