Recent reports claim that former loan player Randal Kolo Muani and Atlético Madrid’s Sørloth are the two leading options. Some reports claim that signing one does not preclude signing the other.
Personal agreement – but not with the club
As for Sørloth, Corriere dello Sport claims that there is an agreement in principle on personal terms between Juventus and Sørloth’s camp. The deal is said to be a four-year contract worth €4 million per season in salary. This is an increase compared to the €3 million per year that the 30-year-old currently earns in the Spanish capital.
However, other media in Italy have less faith in Juventus’ ability to complete a deal with Atlético.
“Atletico are taking their time”
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus is not the only interested party, and that there are also many interested players in the Premier League. It is said that Atlético are taking their time making a decision, with their eyes set on the World Cup – knowing that a strong set of performances can increase the striker’s market value.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that a “bidding war” is the ideal situation for Atlético, while Juventus have already stated that they do not want to spend more than €30 million on a potential signing of Sørloth.

Two separate cases
Juventus and Atlético are also discussing a permanent transfer for Nicolás González, who spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Madrid. However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Argentine will not be included in a potential swap with Sørloth. For accounting reasons, these are two separate cases.
