A Fenerbahce top made big claims about the Egyptian star.
Mohamed Salah’s agent has apparently denied claims that the outgoing Liverpool star is aiming for a move to Turkey. Salah said goodbye to Anfield last month after nine years on Merseyside – a period in which he scored 257 goals. It is the third most in Liverpool’s history, behind Ian Rush (346) and Roger Hunt (285).

He won nine trophies during his time at Liverpool, including two Premier League titles and one Champions League title. He is also in 4th place on the Premier League all-time scoring list with 193 goals.
Salah is currently in North America to play the World Cup with Egypt, who face Belgium in the tournament opener on Monday.
But Fenerbahce top Ertan Torunogullari stated to Fotospor this week that Salah was very interested in a transfer to the Istanbul club.
“He was very keen to come to Turkey,” Torunogullari said.
“The meetings we had were extremely positive. We had found common ground on many issues, including his salary.
“I think that if the new management asks for it, Salah will wear the Fenerbahce shirt.
But in a post on social media, Salah’s representative Ramy Abbas wrote:
“Mohamed is perfectly fine, and neither he nor I prefer to discuss sensitive future plans with people who are not involved in them.
“Both he and I are very private when it comes to such things. Yes, people can ask, and they can get a polite standard answer – but that’s about it.
