When the cosmopolitan Zlatan Ibrahimovic finally retired after a few last seasons at AC Milan, the road went straight into an advisory role at the Italian Serie A club. Here, Zlatan famously threw messages saying that he was the one who made the decisions about players and coaches. This boastful style has been accepted by the entire football world through decades with Zlatan on the pitch and in front of the microphones, but when the Swede has put on a suit, the rules are not the same.
Journalist Maurizio Pistocchi claims Zlatan has now been given a more passive role in Milan, where coach Massimiliano Allegri is said to be the reason for this. Among other things, the coach is said to have prevented the Swede from visiting the dressing room, the Italian journalist claims.

AC Milan are in third place in Serie A and are twelve points ahead of local rivals Inter, who top the table. At the same time, the big club has been knocked out of the Coppa Italia, and they have not participated in any matches in Europe this season.
Corriere dello Sport reports that the relationship between coach Massimiliano Allegri and parts of the club management is reasonably cool. Among other things, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was previously active in his role with the owners Red Bird, has hardly been seen yet. The Swede has stayed away from the pitch and the cameras, and according to TV commentator and journalist Maurizio Pistocchi, Allegri has banned the Swede from visiting the dressing room.
Ibrahimovic, however, should take it easy. According to Calciomercato , the 44-year-old is expected to have a more prominent role at a shareholder meeting in June. Allegri returned to Milan’s coaching staff before the season, but it is highly unclear whether the Italian will be at the helm after the summer.
