Bayern Munich is the giant of the Bundesliga and one of the world’s biggest clubs. The Germans have solid budgets, but are known to back down from player acquisition negotiations. This is not the club that allows itself to be pressured into disproportionately expensive signings. We saw it with Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade last summer, where the Bayern boss called Newcastle “idiots who paid so much for Woltemade”. This summer, it is a German 22-year-old who is in the “negotiation fire”.
In recent weeks, both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a lightning fast left-back, pass-proof and with an exceptional composure with the ball under pressure. The career of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathanial Brown has really taken off, with his debut on the German senior national team coming in October 2025. This is a player Bayern Munich wanted to secure.

Bayern Munich not willing to meet Eintracht Frankfurt’s €65 million price demand for Nathanial Brown
Brown has made 42 appearances for Eintracht this season and impressed the Bayern management. Last week, it was reported by German media that Bayern Munich had agreed on a personal deal with Brown. So far, so good for Bayern.
But according to The Athletic , there is no prospect of a quick transfer with destination Munich. The English media reports that the Bayern management has no interest in meeting Eintracht Frankfurt’s asking price of 65 million euros for Brown. Previous reports have reported that the German champion has set a value of around 50 million euros for the 22-year-old.
