Before the Brighton game, Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior spoke about the fantastic support he received from the management: “I feel 100 per cent support. They (the management) have supported me in our daily conversations. The sporting directors involved have been fantastic in their support for both me and the team”. This was after the 0-1 loss to United at Stamford Bridge – and before the Brighton game on Tuesday. When Chelsea supporters woke up on Wednesday, it was to the realization that the club had delivered its weakest match streak in over 100 years.

We still don’t understand how a Chelsea coach can keep his job with this race. The London club can now only dream of a Champions League ticket.
