Alisson Becker will not try to manoeuvre his way out of Liverpool this summer if a transfer is against the club’s wishes, according to sources to Football Insider.
The goalkeeper is attracting significant interest from Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window, but he “will not force an exit” from Anfield this summer – even though he is now entering the final year of his contract.

Arne Slot is keen to keep the 33-year-old for at least one more season, especially as he has already lost several key leaders from the squad over the summer. Sources say that Alisson is happy with this attitude.
“Liverpool see Alisson as one of the Premier League’s best”
The club’s management still sees him as one of the Premier League’s best goalkeepers, even though he hasn’t been able to play as many games as they would have liked this season.
Liverpool are looking for another big summer after they failed to fight for the league title in 2025/26, and Slot is adamant that there is still an important place for Alisson in the squad.

Juventus offers Alisson what Liverpool don’t want
Alisson’s current contract at Anfield does not give him long-term security, as he is set to become a free agent in a year’s time – if nothing is done to extend the deal.
Juventus’ attempts to lure him away from Merseyside are largely about the offer of a long-term contract, which will give him far greater security in the final phase of his career.

Juventus missed out on the Champions League – but Alisson knows Italy well
Juventus missed out on Champions League games on the last day of the season in Serie A, but Alisson is also well aware that he was previously a huge success in Italy with Roma.
His potential suitors are working hard to lure him away from Liverpool this summer, but it is already clear that Slot and co. have little intention of allowing it.
It could have been different if Alisson had tried to force his way out. But since that doesn’t seem to be an option for now, it seems far more likely that he will stay – at least for one more season.
Giorgi Mamardashvili can create a headache for Slot
Football Insider already revealed in March that Giorgi Mamardashvili is frustrated at Liverpool due to a lack of playing time since joining the club.
The Georgian has regularly served as Alisson’s backup when the veteran has been injury-free in recent years, but he is eager to secure more playing time in the next phase of his career.
It is expected that he could even look for an exit from Anfield this summer, amid long-term interest from clubs in Spain and elsewhere in Europe. His attitude towards an exit could potentially leave Slot with a big problem if both goalkeepers were to disappear.
